VENERATION AND GENERATION

Bio Bank exists as an area of national and international health resource with unparalled reseach opportunities, a typical result in a patchwork of centralised storage zones and vast defined spaces of health reseaches.

The BioBank, located next to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the University of Sydney, was designed to challenge what we would expect to encounter in a building of this "multiple" use. To create a unique and emotional experience for researchers and to provide a desired and credible solution for the public. However, by confirming this extraordinary feeling, the building attempts to transform a place that you would have considered cold and boring before into a place of veneration and generation.
