The new Multipurpose Hall was formed through the B.E.R funding and expanded on the existing school Gym to create a double court complex. The Multipurpose Hall was a cost effective solution that allowed the school to expand their existing facilities and provide flexible spaces for both the school and the broader school and Mt. Gambier community.

The new Multipurpose Hall was designed to integrate with the recently completed Flexible Learning Centre (Stage 1 of Tenison Woods College Master Plan) and build on the flexibility of the existing facility. Classrooms spaces have been provided that can be adjusted to form stage space with the column free solution allowing for uninterrupted viewing for school performances.
